Eddie's "school" had a little Halloween party on Friday. He was able to dress up and wear his costume. I took a few pictures of him and Edith (since she was wearing her costume too).
I will have better pictures later this week, but I present "Bob the Builder" and "Wendy" (Bob's helper):

Zoo Day
Last Friday Eddie didn't have school, so we decided to take a trip to the zoo with a couple of his friends, who also happen to be in his class. The kids had a lot of fun checking out all the different animals. Edith had fun keeping up with the "big" kids and received lots of kisses from Henry and Emilee - Eddie's friends (well, they are her friends too!) I didn't take a lot of pictures - barely any of the animals. Mainly just of the kids!

Weekend in WI continued
On Sunday the weather was a little cool, but we enjoyed some time outside. Jojo bought some cool scooters that the kids loved. They also played in the leaves on the ground (my parents have a lot of trees). We also took a little trip to the park. Because my parents were under the weather, we decided to come home a day early. It was a good visit and now we are waiting for JoJo to get better, so we can see them again soon!

Weekend at JoJo's and Grandpa Ron's
Even though the grandparents were feeling under the weather, we had a fun weekend in WI. We saw my sister Elaine, but sadly I didn't get any pictures of her with the kids. On Saturday morning Eddie kept asking "where's that other girl?" We hope to see her again in November!
On Saturday morning we went over to visit Great-Grandma and had lunch with her. I always like to get pictures of her with the kids. Sometimes they are more willing to pose than others.
Aunt Jeanna came over with Saffron and Sebastian and we celebrated my dad's birthday.
After cake time we attempted to line the kids up for a picture of all of them. It's challenging trying to line up for 4 kids ages 4 and under!
None of them particularly stand out as being great and then my dad decides to hop in. So then we called in JoJo too!
But then the funniest thing happened. Eddie started looking for Grandpa Ron! It was so cute!
Since this post is getting really long, I'll finish up this visit next time.

Big Boy Bed
This weekend we finally got Eddie a big boy bed. Uncas and I struggled with what type of bed and did a lot of looking, but ultimately we decided to just get the frame, mattress and box spring. We'll get a bookshelf headboard hopefully soon and there you go! Here are a few pictures:
Eddie has been quite ready for a bed and so far the transition has been very smooth. It hasn't occurred to him that he can get out of bed on his own. In the morning he still calls for us. I'm not going to say anything to him otherwise!
