I told Uncas today that this weekend has been the perfect combination of fun, relaxing and getting stuff done! I love three day weekends!
Saturday we had an impromptu dinner with our friend Josh. Uncas managed to grill in-between the rain. Sunday morning we headed to MOA and went to the aquarium. Eddie and Edith both loved looking at all the fish. Eddie touched a starfish in the touch pond. He was a little freaked out by the really big tunnel aquariums, but he liked to talk about all the different kinds of sea creatures that he saw.
Since it was so warm out that afternoon, we played outside with the water table. We all enjoyed some freezy-pops too!
Today was mostly a hang-out at home day. More time was spent outside and I managed to sneak away for lunch and a movie by myself. It was a perfect weekend!

The kids and I headed to my parents for a whole week. While there we had a garage sale, the primary reason for the visit, but we were also able to spend a lot of time with family and friends. The kids had a blast. Instead of doing a wordy recap, here is a recap of pictures:

I know I have been MIA, but the kids and I have been enjoying a busy, but fun week at JoJo and Grandpa Ron's. I'll try to update soon, but probably won't be until next week!
This afternoon the kids and I were playing in the living room. I had originally put Edith in the chair with Sammy and got a really picture of the two of them.
And the Eddie popped himself up on the stool next to the chair, so he could be included.
When I put him on the chair, Sammy quickly got down (I can't imagine why?!)
But they would not look at me or the camera.
Not matter how much I tried, they were too busy.
And then I decided to take this video. It features Edith's big belly laugh. I swear that Eddie can make her laugh like this all the time without trying very hard and I love it!
