Double the Fun

On Saturday we spent nearly all day with our favorite twins, Josie and Ronie.  In the morning we went to the little zoo (Como Zoo) with them.  Originally the dads were going to go fishing while Janis and I took the kids, but engine trouble with the boat allowed the dads to tag along!  Everyone had fun looking at the animals.

After a fun morning, we went to our separate homes for afternoon naps for the kids (and in our house, the parents too!) Later we met up at a new local pizza place for an early dinner.  It went surprisingly smoothly despite us having 4 kids under the age of 3! Then Matt and Janis ran home to get their dog and came to our house for a fire outside! Sadly it was our first fire of the year in our fire pit! Hopefully it won't be the last with the nice, cool fall evenings.

It was a great day with beautiful weather! We look forward to spending many more days with the twins to come!
