First Haircut!!!

Last week Eddie had a big week of firsts! On Thursday he finally went in for his first haircut!  He is 2 and 1/2 and we are just getting around to it!  Truth be told, we probably could have waited, but it was looking a little messy constantly and I thought it would be good timing (more on that later).

I made an appointment at Kids' Hair. Pretty much all the moms that I talked to listed this as the place that they took their kids.  This place specializes in kids' hair cuts, so each station had it's own tv.  There were lots of toys and activities to do there and everyone was so nice and patient.  I talked about it with Eddie before we went. He typically does better with stuff if we talk about and prepare him. He knows that Uncas and I go to get our hair cut, so he understood the concept (I think), but he had never actually been in a salon before Thursday.

 I was able to take a lot of pictures while Eddie was having his hair cut.  I did bring Edith with, and in typical Edith fashion, she sat on this chair with this expression the whole time!
